Collaborative Care
Using Individual Strengths for Positive Outcomes
In this practice, we prioritize:
-
Sensory Safety: Low-stimulus options for both in-person and virtual care.
-
Autonomy: You are the expert on your own life; I am here to provide the tools and support.
-
Sustainability: We work together to find solutions that actually fit your real, everyday life.

Pillars of Practice
1
Trauma-Informed
Your past is part of your story, not a label. We use evidence-based treatments and move at your pace, centering your safety and control in every session. All ages and backgrounds are welcomed.
2
Neurodivergent-Affirming
Whether you are Autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neuro-distinct, your brain is welcome here exactly as it is. Your needs, accommodated.
No masking required.
3
Strengths-Based
We start with what’s working. By focusing on your innate resilience and creativity, we help you navigate challenges from a place of empowerment rather than lack.

Meet Richard Quanstrom, LCSW
Richard’s approach to therapy is built on a simple truth: you are the expert on your own life. With a career spanning over two decades and across nearly every environment—from schools and hospitals to the quiet of a client’s own home—Richard has learned that healing happens best in a partnership of mutual respect.
Originally from Idaho, where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Boise State University, Richard has called Pennsylvania home for nearly 20 years. His background as a Behavior Specialist Consultant for a child psychologist practice gave him a deep appreciation for the importance of tailored, individual support. Today, he brings that specialized knowledge to his private practice, focusing on lifting up the strength and resilience he sees in each of his clients.
Richard lives in PA with his wife and their pets, finding his own balance through the same values of curiosity and play that he brings to his clinical work. When he isn’t in the office, Richard can be found traveling with his wife, cheering for his favorite sports teams, enjoying a concert, or immersing himself in a great video game.
